Halifax Pride  – in Review 2025

Halifax Pride in RE-VIEW presents a pointed critique of transgender medicine, its scientific foundations, and the aggressive promotion of related ideologies—particularly within Nova Scotia’s healthcare and youth programs. It calls on supporters to reconsider funding Pride initiatives, citing corporate pullbacks in Canada and the U.S., and links to both official transgender health resources and a series of critical perspectives, including physician concerns, policy reports, and detransitioner testimonies. Below is the unaltered original content.

Dear Supporter: Do you understand what your support of 2SLGBTQI+ and what the displaying of this flag means?

–  You are supporting irreversible hormone therapies and surgeries promoted to young adults and minors to change their sex. Children are being indoctrinated to consider these changes and are being funneled through a system, often without parental involvement. Many staff are employed in this cause including two full time surgeons in Halifax.

–  You are supporting an agenda in schools and public places designed to make children question the value and beauty of the body in which they were born. They are being conditioned to dwell on topics based on sex, in lieu of academics, which takes away the innocence of their youth.

–  You are supporting the annihilation of safe spaces for girls and women by permitting biological males to be included in the definition of women, in sports and in daily life.

– You are supporting the deliberate engagement of persons, that have broad sexual interests, and implying consent that these people interact with young children.

Ø  FEMALE TO MALE / FTM / FTX Masculinization of the Torso or Mastectomy, Metoidioplasty, Phalloplasty, Insertion of Testicular Implant(s), Insertion of Penile Implants, Masculinization of the Face and Body surgeries, Corrective surgeries: Torso Scar removal, Nipple Correction, Secondary Phalloplasty, Phallus Revision
Ø  MALE TO FEMALE / MTF / MTX Vaginoplasty, Vaginoplasty without vaginal
cavity, Breast Augmentation, Adam’s Apple Reduction, Voice Surgery, Facial and Body Feminization, Corrective surgeries: Secondary Vaginoplasty, Genital Scar Revision, Vulvar Reconstruction, Labiaplasty, Correction of the Clitoris, Secondary Vaginoplasty, Vulvar Reconstruction, Labiaplasty, Correction of the clitoris, Genital Scar Revision.

These procedures (“top” and “bottom” +) are performed in Halifax (and Montreal*), funded by tax dollars, and bragged about by Halifax Sexual Health Centre and Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. *(Clients are paid by MSI for travel expenses and hotel stays for any trips to Montreal.) ARE highly experimental, not safe and are often soon followed by the participant’s inconsolable wish to detransition.

“Are you a youth? You do not need parental consent for any of our appointments. However, you must be 18 for us to provide gender-affirming hormone prescriptions. If you are under 18, you can access gender-affirming care through the IWK Trans Health Care Team. You can self refer…”
“Age of majority (18 years in Nova Scotia) or older at the time of surgery (An exception to the age requirement can be requested for chest surgeries by individuals at 16 years of age through their health care provider.”

There is a lack of parental involvement via “PRIDE HEALTH”.

(Note the channeling of vulnerable youth – in one direction of decision making. )

Your appointment will be with a social worker trained in WPATH Soc. Appointments are typically a single three hour session. Letters are typically provided within the week to patients and the referring doctor… Referral to counsellors for supportive therapy, if needed… If you are looking for a readiness letter writer, you can find a directory of mental health professionals here: Queer and Trans Therapists NS Directory.
NEW (2023) – You no longer require a Letter of Readiness before being placed on our wait list to start hormones. HSHC is shifting to an informed consent model where most patients will no longer require any formal mental health assessment to access hormones.

Pride Halifax particularly abhors advice from family or friends that does not propel children away from
viewing themselves as a girl or boy in transition to heterosexual adulthood.

Such advice is “extreme” (Queer Terminology):

“In its most extreme form, bisexual erasure can include the denial that bisexuality exists. An oft-heard example of bi-erasure is claiming that someone might only be “going through a phase,” or “is not yet ready to come out fully as gay/lesbian.”

This view is now reinforced in Canadian law.  Parents, family members and friends, are now under threat of jail time and fines for having discussions, or sharing their personal viewpoints with their children and adolescents considering transition. Having ANY opposing viewpoints, that are not approved by the Queer terminology, are now punishable under Canadian Law, Criminal Code – Conversion Therapy (Section 320.102–320.104) Hate Speech (Criminal Code Section 319).

The Canadian Government has criminalized presenting other kinds of advice.

Do you understand what the 2 S L G B T Q +   acronym stands for?

At every turn, using colour, costumes and festivities -legitimized by schools, libraries, government and
community and corporate sponsorship- children are being indoctrinated by an agenda to favour nontraditional and contrary biological sexual identities.

Pride Halifax is welcomed by HRM schools. What are their objectives?

What kind of teaching might this involve?

Teachers are restricted from giving kids so much an Aspirin, yet they are actively participating in the social transition of thousands of Canadian students.

Imagine where this story goes… these two lovey worms decide either can wear the veil or the tux!   Comparing the union of earthworms, which are hermaphrodites (male AND female), to human marriage is bad science.  This insidious puppet show, “for all ages”, dismantles a child’s understanding of biologics of the human male and female.   All funded by taxpayers at our public library. Notice To HRM Councillors Of Liabilities Concerning Public Health With The Addition Of Fluoride And Chlorine To The Public Water Supply

Since 1945, the use of fluoride has been considered a successful public health initiative for reducing dental cavities and improving general oral health of adults and children. However the risks have largely been ignored in media reports or shared in public health messaging. The risk /benefit analysis has not been examined. A recognition of the minimal benefits do not outweigh the risks to the overall population’s health. An effort to mitigate dental caries in children and adults is no longer an excuse to the many adverse effects

EXCLUSIVE: Nova Scotia confirms it funds and performs genital surgeries for teens

Exclusive documents reveal that doctors in Nova Scotia greenlit five surgeries to create artificial vaginas for patients listed as under 19 years old. Citing privacy laws, the provincial health authority refused to reveal whether any of the patients were minors but acknowledged that Nova Scotia Health funds transgender genital surgeries for minors as of this year, “as per policy and procedures.”

Balancing the Scales: How an Unbiased, Health-Focused LLM Could Transform AI Responses to Medical Questions

Public trust in OPOR’s machinery hinges on transparency and de-biasing—precisely what an unbiased health LLM could provide. Integrated into such systems, it might audit data for equity, flag misconceptions (such as those about transmission efficacy) in real-time analytics, and ensure recommendations prioritize evidence over mandates. Without this, centralized digital IDs risk amplifying COVID-era distrust: a tool meant to heal could instead entrench divisions if built on flawed foundations. Policymakers in Nova Scotia and beyond should mandate bias audits and diverse stakeholder input, echoing the collaborative ethos needed for truly equitable AI in health

Research Involving Human Subjects: Is Nova Scotia Ready?

For simplicity’s sake, let’s just say that in clinical research/clinical trials, you, as a participant, will receive the Cadillac of care: no wait times for imaging, diagnostic tests, prompt medical attention if you experience what is referred to as an Adverse Event (AE). This highlights the sad reality that in Nova Scotia with a deeply challenged health care system (shortage of medical personnel, equipment, IT infrastructure), your best bet to receive top-notch care, may be enrolling in a clinical trial.

ALBERTA’S DAMNING COVID-19 REPORT: What’s In it & What’s Missing

The recent report on Alberta’s COVID-19 pandemic response is a welcomed first step, hopefully of many, towards an open and honest dialogue about the COVID-19 debacle. While much of the information presented isn’t new to those who weren’t lobotomized by the relentless gaslighting, politicians and public health authorities have, until now, been able to keep such inconvenient facts from being officially recognized. This overdue recognition is, in itself, a very BIG deal.
